Welcome to my personal site. I am a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of Michigan with a planned graduation date of May, 2021. I am interested in a number of research topics related to housing, public policy and crime. I have also done research on applying machine learning methods in record linkage applications. My job market paper studies the long-term impacts of rent control on children who grow up in areas with rent regulations. Using data at the census tract level, I show that rent control is associated with improved economic mobility and employment rates for children that grow up with rent control. I will be available for interviews at the ASSA meetings in January, 2021.
